Harley’s 2021 Product Onslaught To Begin In January

Harley-Davidson has been known to collaborate with different artists for various projects. This time it has partnered with Japanese art house Graphers Rock for its ‘Seek For Freedom’ project. The result are two striking custom motorcycles based on the Street Rod and Iron 1200. While the Iron 1200 custom bike is a one-off masterpiece, 10 units of the Street Rod Freedom Edition will be available for discerning enthusiasts in Japan.

While the Iron 1200 gets hand-painted panels and yellow accents, the Street Rod gets a hand-painted fuel tank with blacked-out panels The fuel tank is painted in white with ‘Freedom’ written in black. The top side has been kept blank, with details about the Street Rod, including its 750cc Revolution X motor, written in small fonts. Rest of the motorcycle gets a blacked-out treatment to keep the fuel tank as the centre of attention.

Changes to both the Street Rod and Iron 1200 are purely cosmetic and both motorcycles remain mechanically unchanged. The limited-edition Street Rod continues to be powered by a 749cc liquid-cooled Revolution X V-twin motor that delivers 62Nm. Underpinnings include upside-down forks and twin gas-charged shock absorbers with disc brakes at both ends.
The Harley-Davidson Street Rod Freedom edition is available only in Japan, where it is priced at 998,300 Yen (approx Rs 7 lakh). Harley-Davidson recently launched its BS6 lineup, which includes both the Street Rod and Iron 1200, in India.
