Here Are Top 10 Major Cars Launched In 2023

2023 has been a great year in the Indian car industry. From small EVs, compact sedans, and popular SUV facelifts, all the way to new segment creators and premium luxury sedans. The year offered everything for those looking to pick up a brand new vehicle. So without further ado, here are the 10 hottest cars launched in 2023. 

MG Comet 

The tiny MG Comet must be applauded for its notion of a personal mobility vehicle. The city car has a small footprint, seats four and runs quietly thanks to its electric powertrain. Hyundai Verna

This car probably garnered plenty of controversies at its debut for its… ahem… “unique” styling. But look beyond that and the Verna definitely took the game forward with its premium interiors, grocery list-rivalling features, and multiple powertrain options. Honda City Facelift

Honda introduced the fifth-gen City in India back in 2020. With almost 3 years since then, the sedan got a midlife refresh, with some minor design changes. The update brings in a variant rejig, introduction of ADAS on non-hybrid variants, and the introduction of an entry-level trim with the hybrid powertrain. Honda Elevate 

The Elevate is Honda’s entry into the popular compact SUV segment. But is the Japanese carmaker late to the party? Tata Nexon & Nexon EV

Tata has gone all-out for the 2023 facelift, as this is the first major makeover since the SUV’s launch back in 2017. Major updates include an attractive exterior design, a revamped dashboard layout, lots of features, and a new gearbox as well. Tata Harrier & Safari

Hyundai Exter 

Aimed to rival the Tata Punch, the Exter is Hyundai's latest micro-SUV. The Korean carmaker offers premium features like a sunroof and dashcam, which is what the market wanted with over 75 percent Exter buyers opting for a sunroof-equipped variant. Maruti Suzuki Fronx

Based on the popular Baleno, the Fronx is a crossover with design inspired from the larger Grand Vitara. It boasts an attractive exterior and interior design. People who love to drive can also rejoice that it comes with a 1-litre Boosterjet engine making an enthusiast-friendly 100 PS and 138 Nm. Kia Seltos 

Kia is a firm believer of the “don’t fix what isn’t broken” philosophy when it comes to the Seltos. Since its launch in 2019, the Seltos has always been known for its design, feature-packed interiors, and diverse powertrains. The flagship BMW sedan and its electric version are all about opulence. The new 7 Series gets bold styling and a large curved display in the dash.
