Here’s A Look At The Maruti Dzire’s One-above-base Vxi Variant In 10 Real-Life Images

Maruti very recently launched the new-generation Dzire with plenty of upgrades over its predecessor. The upgrades included a fresh exterior, an updated interior with plenty of new features and a new Swift-sourced engine. 

Maruti is offering the new Dzire in as many as four different variants, namely, Lxi, Vxi, Zxi and Zxi+. Out of the four variants, we will be explaining its Vxi variant using 10 real-world images: 

Maruti Dzire Vxi: Price

As seen in the table above, the Dzire Vxi’s prices range from Rs 7.79 lakh to Rs 8.74 lakh (ex-showroom). It carries a premium of Rs 1 lakh for the manual variants compared to the base-spec variant of the Dzire.

Maruti Dzire Vxi: Design

Design-wise, the Vxi variant of the Dzire looks more polished and appealing when compared to the base-spec variant. Up front, it gets the new wide grille and a chrome strip connecting the  projector halogen headlamps. The LED headlights, LED DRLs and LED fog lamps are restricted to higher-spec variants. 

The Vxi misses out on the 15-inch alloy wheels and instead gets 14-inch steel wheels with covers. The variant introduces body-coloured ORVMs and door handles over the entry-level Lxi variant. This specific car doesn’t sport the wheel covers, but we can confirm that the Vxi variant does get them.

Coming to the rear, the Vxi features the new Y-shaped LED tail lights that are connected by a chrome strip. A shark fin antenna and an integrated lip spoiler are design elements that add a sporty touch to the rear of the Dzire Vxi.  

You can have the Dzire Vxi in as many as seven hues: Gallant Red, Alluring Blue, Nutmeg Brown, Bluish Black, Arctic White, Magma Grey, and Splendid Silver.

Maruti Dzire Vxi: Interior And Features

The interior of the Dzire Vxi comes with the new dashboard design and layout and a dualtone black and beige theme for the cabin. 

Over the Lxi trim, you get a music system and all the essential features that you would need. 

Adding a nice touch to the cabin are the silver and chrome inserts which you do not get on the variant below. Higher-spec variants also get a wooden finish for a more premium look. The rear seats come with a centre armrest and cup holders thereby adding to the convenience factor.  

In terms of equipment, the Vxi packs a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, keyless entry, 4 speakers, steering-mounted audio controls, manual AC with rear AC vents, electrically adjustable ORVMs, adjustable front and rear headrests, tilt-adjustable steering and USB charging ports.

Safety is taken care of by 6 airbags (standard), ABS with EBD, ESC, hill hold assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, reverse parking sensors, and a rear defogger. A 360-degree camera and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) come with higher-spec variants.

The Maruti Dzire is priced from Rs 6.79 lakh to Rs 10.14 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals entry-level sedans like the Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze and the Tata Tigor.
