Will the increase in asking price affect your buying decision?

With the BS6.2 norms having kicked in, Royal Enfield has updated its motorcycles with not only a cleaner engine, but also with E20 compatibility. And inevitably, someof them have faced a price hike too. Here’s how much more each bike costs now:

Bike

Price Hike

Hunter 350 (Metro)

Rs 3000 increase

Bullet 350

Rs 3000 increase

Meteor 350, Classic 350 and Scram 411

1.5 percent increase

Super Meteor 650

1.5 percent increase

Himalayan, Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650

Note- all the hikes are when compared to the bikes’ on-road Chennai prices

With the BS6.2 and E20 compatibility, Royal Enfield has brought around two important changes at reasonable increase in the prices. In fact, the Himalayan, Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 have not seen price hikes at all.

But this is hardly it, for Royal Enfield has a LOT in store for us. The Himalayan 450 was spied testing again recently and here’s what it sounds like. Last week even revealed more details about the upcoming Royal Enfield electric bike. And then there was also the affordable variant of the Meteor 350 and Shotgun 650, both of which were spotted testing as well
