The Auto Expo 2023 is inching closer by the day and we can’t help but wonder what all cars carmakers have in store for us. And while we don’t have any information or official source to confirm this just yet, we can speculate what to expect from MG’s stall at the grand event.
Here’s how we think MG’s display at the Expo will look like:
We are almost certain of the MG Air EV being showcased at the Expo and it could well be the carmaker’s showstopper. It’s the MG’s entry-level EV with a footprint that’s smaller than the Tata Tiago EV. Curious? Know more about it in our detailed article.
We’ve all seen the facelifted Hector before we were officially supposed to, thanks to leaked images. The SUV is slated to make its debut on January 5 and post that, it could be showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo. We also expect the facelifted Hector Plus to be on display alongside the standard Hector.
MG’s flagship offering, the Gloster SUV, has been around for quite some time now. Yes, there was an update for the SUV recently, but it was a minor one with primary focus being the addition of new features. Might be unlikely, but MG could showcase the facelifted Gloster at the 2023 Auto Expo, to keep the SUV up to date with its rivals.
This might seem to be a bit of a stretch, but MG might showcase the facelifted ZS EV at its stall. It might be based on the HS, a hybrid SUV that’s based on the Astor and sold in Thailand. That said, it coming to the market might take some time.
The MG4, MG5, and MG6 are all products that are currently on sale in international markets and we think these could be on showcase at the upcoming Expo. Especially the MG4, which is a compact EV, priced lower than the ZS EV in markets abroad.
These are the cars that we expect to be on display at MG’s stand at the Auto Expo. Yeah, sure, there might be a few additions or even misses that MG might give to this list, but we’ll only know for sure when the big event unfolds. Stick around so you don’t miss out on all the dope that we’ll bring you before you’re supposed to see it.
