  • 2023 Tata Harrier and Safari petrol variants are expected.
  • Likely to get the 170PS 1.5-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol engine that debuted at Auto Expo 2023.
  • Could be teamed with either a manual or a dual-clutch automatic.
  • Expected to launch in 2024 after the Curvv’s introduction.
  • 2023 Harrier and Safari to launch on October 17.

The 2023 Tata Harrier and Safari facelift will be offered with a sole 170PS 2-litre diesel engine, teamed with either a 6-speed manual or automatic. Yes, there isn’t a petrol engine available at the moment, but those who are expecting it will be glad to know that the Indian marque is expected to introduce it in both models sometime in 2024.

Both models are likely to get the carmaker’s 170PS 1.5-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol engine that debuted at Auto Expo 2023. You can expect this engine to be teamed with either a manual or a dual-clutch automatic transmission. Petrol power for the Harrier and Safari will take a while as it’s expected to be introduced after the Curvv’s, which will get the smaller 1.2-litre T-GDI unit.

Both the facelifted models receive their first major overhaul, which includes a revised exterior, an updated interior with different themes depending on the variant you pick, and plenty of new features.
