Here’s When The 2024 Maruti Dzire Will Most Likely Be Launched On!

Maruti will most likely be launching the new Dzire on November 4, 2024. Earlier this year, the carmaker introduced the new Swift on our shores, and its next new car for India will be the Maruti Dzire subcompact sedan. We expect Maruti to launch it with plenty of new features and introduce the new Z-series 1.2-litre petrol engine on the Dzire. Till then, let’s take a look at the new Dzire’s details that we are aware of so far and what we can expect from it: 

2024 Maruti Dzire: Here’s What To Expect 

Design-wise, we can expect the Dzire to feature new styling elements, including a new grille, tweaked numbers and new sets of LED headlights and taillights. Moreover, it will also get a new design for the alloy wheels. As seen on the new Swift, it would be safe to say that the Dzire will also be offered with new colour options for the exterior. 

The 2024 Dzire has been spied testing under heavy camouflage a couple of times. From those spy shots, we know that it will be getting a sunroof, which will be a first in its segment. 

The new Swift's dashboard layout and design are expected to be carried over to the new Dzire.  However, it will likely be offered in a different theme. Apart from a sunroof, the new Dzire is expected to get features like a wireless phone charger, a 360-degree camera, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech features, and 6 airbags as standard. 

Convenience and safety features such as cruise control, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, keyless entry with push-button start, steering mounted audio control, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control and reverse parking camera with sensors will be carried forward.  

The new Dzire is expected to get the Swift’s new Z-series 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine, which makes 82 PS and 112 Nm. It will be paired with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. It will also be available with a factory-fitted CNG, likely sometime after its launch. 

The upcoming Dzire is expected to be priced from Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. It will rival the Tata Tigor, Honda Amaze and Hyundai Aura.
