Here’s Your First Look At The New-gen 2024 Skoda Kodiaq And Superb’s Interiors And Their Physical Controls

Skoda has released the interior images of the new-generation 2024 Kodiaq and Superb ahead of their debut later this year. The latest iteration of both models will get a brand new cabin with a large touchscreen, but thankfully, unlike the latest models from the VW Group, Skoda has brought in clever touches with physical knobs and controls.

The basic layout of both models are the same, consisting of a large 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The differentiating factors come in the form of the dashboard design, which has been minorly changed to give them unique identities. And thankfully, unlike the Octavia and Enyaq iV, which get touch sliders for the climate control, Skoda has brought back physical knobs and buttons.

These knobs get a display and can multitask. The outer two knobs control the temperature, seat heating and ventilation. And the central one takes care of fan speed, air direction, smart air conditioning, infotainment volume, driving modes, and map zoom.

Moving the gear selector to the steering column means plenty of space has been scooped out in the lower central console for cubby holes and wireless phone charger. 

2024 Skoda Kodiaq And Superb Features

Both models will get kit such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, ambient lighting, a branded audio system, powered front seats, ventilated and heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger and USB-C fast chargers. Safety should be taken care of by multiple airbags, electronic stability control and a host of ADAS features. 

2024 Skoda Kodiaq And Superb Debut Timeline

The Skoda Superb will continue locking horns with the Toyota Camry. On the other hand, the Skoda Kodiaq will rival the Hyundai Tucson, VW Tiguan, MG Gloster and Toyota Fortuner.
