Honda India seems to be gearing up to launch new big bikes in India soon, according to an image leaked online. The image shows the CB1000 Hornet, CB750 Hornet, CBR 650R, CB 650R and the X-Adv Scooter. From the looks of it, the image might be a part of a dealer presentation from the brand. Before we tell you the launch details, let us take a look at these bikes:
The Honda CB 650R caters to riders looking for a middleweight naked bike with an inline-four engine. From the looks of things, the 2025 model retains the same core design with a minimalist aesthetic. The bike features an in-line four 648cc engine making 95PS at 12,000rpm and 63Nm at 9,500rpm. It has a kerb weight of 203kg, a seat height of 810mm, and a ground clearance of 150mm.
The Honda CB750 Hornet is a middleweight naked bike that's powered by a 755cc parallel-twin engine which makes 90.5PS and 75Nm. The design is sharp, and aggressive, and deviates from Honda’s usual design language. It should appeal to riders looking for a functional and accessible street fighter.
The CB1000 Hornet gets a 999cc inline-four engine derived from the CBR 1000RR Fireblade. In the CB1000, it produces 152PS and 104Nm. It gets a design that follows Honda’s modern naked bike language, retaining the aggressive styling seen in its smaller sibling, the CB750. Honda CB1000 Hornet’s launch in India will mark the return of a litre-class Honda naked bike in India.
The upcoming Honda CBR 650R remains the same as its previous iteration that was on sale in India earlier. The CBR 650R is a sport-touring bike which comes with an in-line four 648cc motor. It made 87PS and 57.5Nm when it was previously available with a BS6 compliant engine. When launched, it will be the next best option for a 600cc inline-four faired bike from Honda.
The Honda X-ADV nameplate was trademarked in India all the way back in January 2022 and it seems like we are finally getting it here. Even globally, it remains an unconventional option in the scooter category, blending the practicality of a scooter with the rugged look of an adventure bike. It features a 745cc parallel-twin engine making 54PS and 68Nm. Its off-road oriented nature should make it easy to ride on broken roads. However, do not expect it to perform as well as full blown ADVs.
Honda India's 2025 lineup includes several updates that cater to a broad spectrum of riders. The new line-up will make Honda Big Wing range in India more in tune with what Honda’s offering in many other countries.
