Priced from Rs 7.16 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Sportz Executive trim of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios has been introduced as the middle ground between the two mid-spec Magna and Sportz trims. It has been launched with both manual and automatic transmissions and here’s the complete pricing of the new variants.

The new Sportz Executive trim is effectively Rs 4,000 cheaper than the next-in-line Sportz trim in the case of both the manual and automatic transmission options. As can be seen from the table above, the Sportz Executive trim isn’t offered with the CNG powertrain.
Going by the brochure, the new Sportz Executive trim packs everything found in the Sportz trim save for the automatic AC. So, it gets creature comforts like an eight-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, keyless entry, manual AC, cruise control, rear AC vents, electric ORVMs, driver seat height adjustment and a 3.5-inch MID.

As for safety, it gets four airbags, ESC, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, rear defogger, and hill-start assist. If the auto AC function isn’t something you absolutely need, then you can save Rs 4,000 by purchasing the Sportz Executive trim.

The new trim hasn’t brought with it changes to the price range of the hatchback which costs between Rs 5.68 lakh and Rs 8.46 lakh (ex-showroom). The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios competes in the same space as the Maruti Swift, Tata Punch and Renault Triber.
