The Korean marque has nearly 1.5 lakh orders pending delivery in the country.
Facelifted Venue and Creta have a waiting period of up to five months.
Tucson has an average waiting time of two to three months across the country.
Hyundai currently has a staggering 1.35 Lakh pending orders in the country. This is due to multiple factors that include the semiconductor shortage that has been plaguing the industry for quite some time now. Add to that the brewing festive season, which, after two years of pandemic, is finally going to be celebrated in full force. The result? The situation Hyundai finds itself in.
Also, with the addition of the facelifted Venue to its lineup, Hyundai has one of the most diverse portfolios for a carmaker in India, spanning different body styles throughout. Although Hyundai has expedited the deliveries of the new sub-4m SUV, it still has amassed a maximum waiting period of five months in select cities. That figure is similar to the waiting time of the Creta, which too goes up to five months.
The Hyundai Tucson follows after the two compact SUVs with a waiting period of up to five months, averaging a wait time of two to three months across the country. Other Hyundai models also carry a delivery time ranging from zero to four months, depending upon the variant and city in question. The new launches have been the driving force behind the manufacturer’s sales which is likely to be the case in the near future as well.
