Japan-Spec 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift Dimensions Revealed, Here’s How It Compares With The Current India-Spec Model

After the 2024 Suzuki Swift’s official reveal at the Japan Mobility Show, we are getting new details about it as it inches closer to its official launch in Japan and India. Today, we have obtained the dimensions of the 2024 Swift, and here’s how it compares with the current-gen model sold in India.

The overall dimensions of the upcoming 2024 Swift are similar to the current-gen India-spec car. However, it's slightly longer, but narrower and shorter than the current car. That said, there is no change in the wheelbase.

There are big changes underneath the hood, as the upcoming 2024 Swift will get a new 1.2-litre Z-series three-cylinder petrol engine in India. Details on the power figures of this new engine are not out yet, but we expect it will produce the same 89PS/113Nm output as the current four-cylinder unit. In Japan, the new powertrain is paired with the CVT gearbox. However, for our market, you can expect it to be offered with both manual and automatic transmission options.
