The adventure motorcycle gets an upright riding position, which will be great for touring

Kawasaki discontinued the Kawasaki Versys 1000 from its India lineup in the last 10 days. But it seems like the Japanese manufacturer is working on bringing some of its models sold internationally to India very soon. One such model is the Kawasaki Versys X 300 and it has been spotted testing in India.

From the spy shots, we can see that the baby ADV from Kawasaki gets sharp design lines with a half-fairing, sculpted tank design, a single-pod headlight unit and a long flyscreen. The riding position is quite upright, which will make the bike great for touring. It gets a single-seat setup, telescopic fork at the front, spoked wheels (likely to be a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup) and a tail rack for tail bags and panniers.

The Kawasaki Versys X 300 is already sold internationally and we believe  it’ll be powered by the same 296cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. Features-wise, the bike on sale internationally gets a halogen headlight and bulb-type indicators and tail light, and a slip and assist clutch.

The Kawasaki Versys X 300 is likely to be sold with a premium of Rs 30,000 - Rs 40,000 over the Kawasaki Ninja 300’s Rs 3,43,000 (ex-showroom) price tag. The adventure motorcycle will likely be launched by the end of 2024.
