In 2023, we saw Tata Motors make headlines with the launch of SUVs like the Nexon, Harrier, and Safari. The Indian marque is expected to continue this trend next year with the launch of an EV version of its micro-SUV and midsize SUV, a sportier version of its hatchback, and a special edition of the Nexon. Here are the upcoming launches from Tata Motors you need to keep an eye out for in 2024.
Tata Motors is expected to kick-start 2024 with the launch of the Punch EV. The electric SUV has been spotted testing for a considerable amount of time, hinting at a possible launch early next year. The Punch EV will boast an updated design inspired by the recently launched Nexon EV. It is expected to be offered with two battery pack options, with an estimated range of 325 km.

Expected Launch: January 2024
Tata Motors is also expected to give the Punch a facelift with design updates and new features in 2024, similar to the Punch EV that has been spotted testing. The micro SUV has been on sale since 2021, sitting in a segment below the Tata Nexon. You can expect new features like a bigger touchscreen and a digital driver’s display. It is expected to be offered with similar powertrain options.

In the upcoming year, Tata Motors is set to introduce the Curvv EV, an SUV-coupe positioned between the Nexon EV and Harrier EV. The electric SUV-coupe is expected to feature a design aligning with Tata’s recently updated models. It is expected to have features like digital driver’s display, touch-based climate control and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The Curvv EV is expected to offer multiple battery pack options with an expected range of over 500 km.

Expected Launch: March 2024
The Curvv will also spawn an internal combustion engine (ICE) version, with the EV model coming first. Its entry into the compact SUV segment will position it as an SUV-coupe competitor with models like Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Kia Seltos. The model is also expected to get Tata’s 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol engine.

Expected Launch: Mid 2024
Tata’s very popular Dark edition is expected to be introduced in the Nexon and Nexon EV in 2024. Similar to the previous iterations, the Nexon Dark edition is likely to showcase black alloy wheels, grille, and 'Dark' badges, while maintaining the same features and powertrain options as the variants it is derived from.

Expected Launch: To Be Announced
Tata unveiled the Altroz Racer, a sportier variant of the Altroz, at Auto Expo 2023. This model features cosmetic updates on the exterior as well in the interior, including new features introduced on the facelifted Nexon. While specific mechanical details are yet to be revealed, it is expected to share the Nexon's 120 PS turbo-petrol engine, making it tad more powerful than the standard car.

The recently facelifted 2023 Tata Harrier will soon be joined by its all-electric variant, the Harrier EV, which was showcased as a concept at Auto Expo 2023. It will feature a similar design as the standard Harrier, and should be offered with multiple electric powertrain options. The Harrier EV is expected to provide a range of over 500 km and is expected to get an all-wheel-drive option as well.
