Lamborghini India has started deliveries of the Huracan Sterrato on our shores. The first unit for our market is finished in a Matte Grey shade with blacked-out wheels that looks ready to take on an apocalypse. And adding a tinge of contrast to this dark theme are the yellow brake callipers, that look deliciously good!
The Huracan Steratto is a Lambo built to take you on dirt roads in max attack, courtesy its 44mm taller ride height, and we say it’s the perfect supercar for our road conditions. Also, its suspension relies on steel springs and adaptive dampers, ensuring a comfortable ride even on uneven surfaces. Furthermore, underbody shielding along with reinforced sills, to tackle situations when the standard ground clearance may not suffice.
And then there’s the fire-breathing heart: a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine (the same as on the Huracan EVO) delivering 610PS and 560Nm, devoid of any sort of electrification. Yes, it isn’t as quick as the standard EVO, but a 0-100kmph time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 260kmph isn’t by any means slow.
All of this comes along with its drool-worthy looks. It features sharp, angular styling, a raised profile, and flared wheel arches that give it an aggressive and rugged appearance. You also get bits that stand out from the standard Huracan, such as LED auxiliary lights and roof rails. Yes, it utilises smaller 19-inch rims, but the thick sidewalls provide extra protection for the meticulously designed wheels.
