LML has teamed up with Saera Electric Auto, whose manufacturing plant earlier catered to Harley-Davidson India, to build EVs

LML is making a comeback, this time in fast-growing electric vehicles segment. In order to lay the foundation of its EV business in the country, LML has entered into a strategic partnership with Saera Electric Auto, the former manufacturer of Harley Davidson motorcycles in India.

LML will be using Saera Electric Auto’s facility in Bawal, Haryana to manufacture its next generation EV products. The facility is capable of producing 18,000 units per month and spans 2,17,800 square feet in size. LML says it intends to become a 100% ‘Make In India’ company by the end of 2025. Expect the first of LML’s EVs to be launched next year.

We hope LML comes up with its first EV right on time as currently, the EV space is bubbling with new launches and several interesting developments. Recently, Hero Electric announced its partnership with Mahindra Group for the manufacture and development of new EVs.
