Mahindra has beefed up the Bolero’s safety by offering dual airbags as standard in all trims. Earlier, all the trims (B4, B6, and B6 Opt) came with a driver-side airbag only. The Bolero continues to retail between Rs 9 lakh and Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Take a look at the variant-wise price list:
Trims |
Prices (ex-showroom Delhi) |
B4 |
Rs 9 lakh |
B6 |
Rs 9.8 lakh |
B6 Opt |
Rs 10 lakh |
A minor revision has been done to the Bolero’s dashboard: the grab handle on the co-driver’s side has been done away with to accommodate the extra airbag.
Other notable safety features in the Bolero include rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, and high speed warning alert.
The SUV gets a 76PS/210Nm 1.5-litre diesel engine, paired with a 5-speed manual and rear-wheel drivetrain.

The Bolero still remains Mahindra’s best seller in India. It doesn’t have any direct rivals, but at these prices, it will be an alternative against sub-4 metre SUVs like the Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite.
