Mahindra has introduced a new Deep Forest green colour for the Thar, its popular off-roader. This new colour is available with both the AX (O) and LX variants and commands no extra cost. Apart from the introduction of this new paint way, no other changes have been made to the Mahindra Thar. 

Mahindra Thar: All Available Colour Options

With the introduction of this new hue, you can buy the Mahindra Thar in six colours: Deep Forest (new), Red Rage, Deep Grey, Stealth Black, Everest White and Desert Fury (Earth Edition). 

It must be noted that the Blazing Bronze hue isn’t listed on the website and brochure, which could lead us to the fact that it might have been discontinued. 

Mahindra Thar: Features On Board 

In terms of features, the Mahindra Thar has a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, manual AC, steering-mounted audio controls, power windows, cruise control, analogue dials with a multi-info display, and remote locking.

Passenger safety comprises dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control, and a roll cage. 

Mahindra Thar: Engine Options

The Mahindra Thar is available with a choice of three engine options: a 118 PS 1.5-litre diesel, a 150 PS 2-litre turbo-petrol, and a 132 PS 2.2-litre diesel. Mahindra Thar Price And Rivals 

Prices for the Mahindra Thar range from Rs 11.35 lakh to Rs 17.60 lakh (ex-showroom). It locks horns with the Force Gurkha 3-door and is a larger alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
