The latest teaser video showcases the interiors of the Mahindra XUV 3XO (facelifted XUV 300) ahead of its April 29 debut, gives a clear first look of the dashboard design and features it will come packed with.
The XUV 3XO gets a completely redesigned dashboard layout which resembles the XUV 400 EV, and will be feature loaded up to the brim. At first glance, it retains the older steering wheel design but with gloss-black inserts instead of silver inserts found on the outgoing XUV300. It is pretty evident from the teaser video that the XUV 3XO will get a full digital 10.25-inch digital driver’s display hosting a variety of information
The facelifted sub-compact SUV will feature a 10.25-inch floating infotainment screen with Mahindra’s Adrenox connected car tech and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. And below it are the sleek AC vents and chunky controls for the dual-zone climate control.
In terms of features, the Mahindra XUV 3XO will be the first in its segment to get a large panoramic sunroof. Other equipment onboard should include a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats and ADAS functionality.

Under the hood, it is expected to be powered with the same engine options as before. A 1.2 litre turbo petrol engine producing 110 PS and a 1.2 litre T-GDI turbo petrol engine producing 130 PS. It can also get the 1.5 litre diesel engine churning 117 PS.
Having a closer look at the gearbox reveals that the XUV 3XO will likely get a Torque converter instead of an AMT transmission, alongside the standard manual transmission. It will get similar driving modes as its elder sibling, XUV700 namely, Zip, Zap and Zoom. It can sprint from a standstill to 60 kmph in 4.5 seconds and will deliver an impressive mileage of 20.1 kmpl (As tested by Mahindra). We suspect the acceleration number to be for the T-GDI turbo-petrol and the mileage to be of the diesel.
Upon its launch which is slated to take place on April 29th, the XUV 3XO is expected to feature a price increase as compared to the outgoing XUV300, which starts at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Its competition will persist in the sub-compact SUVs, competing against the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
