The new Mahindra XUV700 has been an instant success, having booked north of 70,000 units. But with success (and the ongoing semiconductor shortage) comes long queues of prospective customers.

• The shortest waiting period is in Mumbai, Pune, and Kolkata. 

• In Hyderabad and Bengaluru, your wait will be a little protracted -- up to six months. .
