Hike ranges between Rs 47,000 and Rs 81,000, depending on the variant chosen.
The top-spec AX7 AT Luxury Pack variants have gotten the most pricier with this hike.
Latest prices are applicable for bookings made after October 8, 2021
However, if there’s yet another price hike leading up to delivery, customers will have to fork out that amount.
The XUV700 now retails from Rs 12.96 lakh to Rs 23.80 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Barely a fortnight into 2022, and Mahindra has increased the XUV700’s prices by up to Rs 81,000, depending on the variant. This is the second time the much-in-demand SUV’s prices have gone up since introductory prices (for the first 25,000 bookings) were scrapped on October 7 last year.
If you had booked yours prior to October 8, you need not bother with this increment, as the hike is only applicable for bookings made after the said date.
However, suppose you booked your XUV700 anytime after October 8. In that case, you will have to pay the price applicable at the time of delivery, meaning if there’s yet another price hike before the delivery period, you’d have to shell out that money.

Despite this hefty hike, the XUV700 still manages to start under the Rs 13-lakh mark. The top-of-the-line AX7 AT Luxury pack variants have been hit the hardest by this price bump-up.
The XUV700 features a 10.25-inch dual-screen setup, Alexa AI integrated connected car tech, a wireless phone charger, electronically pop-out door handles, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Powering the XUV700 are 204PS 2-litre turbo-petrol and 155PS/185PS 2.2-litre diesel engines, paired with 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. There’s an optional AWD, but that’s limited to the range-topping AX7 diesel-automatic combine.
The XUV700 now retails from Rs 12.96 lakh to Rs 23.80 lakh (ex-showroom, India). But brace yourselves as waiting periods for some variants are stretching all the way into 2023. The SUV rivals the Hyundai Creta/Alcazar, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, Tata Harrier/Safari, and the MG Astor/Hector/Hector Plus .
