Mahindra has announced the pricing and booking details for its highly anticipated electric SUVs, the BE 6 and XEV 9e, reinforcing its commitment to democratising premium EV technology. With feature-rich offerings and a finance program designed to enhance accessibility, Mahindra aims to cater to a wide range of buyers. Bookings for these models will open on February 14, 2025.
One For All; All For One?
Mahindra’s BE 6 and XEV 9e are built on the INGLO EV platform, designed to appeal to both premium and mass-market EV buyers. The company is introducing multiple trims across the lineup, with the top-tier Pack Three variant offering the best of technology and performance.
With a 79 kWh battery, these SUVs deliver 500+ km of real-world range, effectively addressing range anxiety. Performance figures are impressive too! The BE 6 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds, while the XEV 9e does it in 6.8 seconds, making them among the fastest EVs in their segment.
To ensure wider accessibility, Mahindra has introduced the BE 6 and XEV 9e in three broad variants, each offering different levels of technology and features at different price points. This strategy ensures that there’s a variant for every buyer, whether they prioritize affordability, features, or top-tier luxury.
By offering these models with different equipment levels and pricing structures, Mahindra ensures that both tech-savvy early adopters and mainstream buyers looking for practicality can find a suitable variant.
Features Overloaded
Both SUVs come equipped with a high-performance 210 kW electric motor, delivering instant torque and rapid acceleration. Powering them is a 79 kWh battery, which supports 175 kW DC fast charging, allowing a 20 to 80 percent charge in under 20 minutes.
Safety is a top priority, with Level 2+ ADAS, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and autonomous emergency braking.
Inside, the SUVs feature a dual-screen digital cockpit, an augmented reality head-up display (AR-HUD), and a 16-speaker 3D surround sound system for an immersive experience. Connectivity is future-ready with 5G support, an AI-powered voice assistant, remote vehicle monitoring via a smartphone app and more.
With these additions, Mahindra is positioning these EVs not just as alternatives to traditional combustion SUVs but as a step forward in intelligent, connected, and premium mobility.

Mahindra is targeting a production run of 5,000 units per month in the initial phase, indicating strong demand expectations for these premium EVs.
To make high-end EV technology more accessible, Mahindra has introduced the "Three for Me" finance plan in collaboration with Mahindra Finance. This scheme allows customers to purchase the feature-packed Pack Three variant at the same EMI as the base Pack One, with a balloon payment at the end of six years.
By lowering the entry barrier for premium electric vehicles, Mahindra is ensuring that more buyers can experience top-tier technology without a substantial upfront investment. This initiative aligns with the brand’s vision of democratising premium EV ownership in India.
With the launch of the BE 6 and XEV 9e, Mahindra is strengthening its EV portfolio and reinforcing its ambition to be a leading player in India's electric SUV market. By combining powerful performance, cutting-edge technology, and innovative financing, these SUVs could set new benchmarks in the segment.
