If you had your eyes on the new-gen 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift and are eagerly waiting for its prices, then this report is for you. Maruti Suzuki will launch the fourth-gen hatchback on May 9. And if you intend to reserve one, bookings for the 2024 Swift are open and interested customers can reserve one either online or at the nearest Maruti Suzuki Arena dealership.
The teaser campaign for the Maruti Swift 2024 has begun, giving us a glimpse of its fascia. It will get a new grille dominating the face, flanked by a pair of redesigned LED headlights and DRLs. Another teaser has given us a look at its dual-tone alloys, which get a different design than those offered in international markets.
Inside, the new Swift’s dashboard design takes inspiration from Maruti’s new models such as the Fronx and Grand Vitara. That said, it gets a black/grey theme that gives it a sporty vibe. Other design highlights inside the cabin include analogue dials with red needles and a multi-info display. To take a closer look at the UK-spec 2024 Maruti Swift, head to our image gallery.

Passenger safety should be augmented by the introduction of six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and a 360-degree camera. It remains to be seen if the new-gen Swift will get ADAS, but a test mule has been spotted here sporting this safety tech.
Underneath the hood, the new-gen Swift is expected to get the new 82PS 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, replacing the four-cylinder unit on the outgoing car. Internationally, this engine is offered with a 5-speed manual and CVT, but the latter could be ditched in favour of an AMT to keep costs in check.
Prices of the new-gen 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift are likely to be slightly higher than the outgoing model, which was priced from Rs 6.25 lakh (ex-showroom). It will renew its rivalry with the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios as well as other similarly priced models such as the Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Triber.
