The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso has received a new update and it has subsequently brought the Celerio’s K10C 1-litre DualJet petrol engine to a more affordable price point.
Maruti’s K10C engine is even more frugal than the previous 1-litre motor, with a claimed fuel economy figure of over 24kmpl in manual guise and 25.3kmpl when paired with the auto ‘box. In addition to the new engine, automatic variants of the new S-Presso get two new safety features, electronic stability program (ESP) and hill-hold assist.

Apart from the new engine, the top-spec Vxi+ and Vxi+ (O) S-Presso variants now get electrically adjustable outer rear-view mirrors (ORVMs). The automatic variants have two new features – electronic stability program (ESP) and hill-hold assist.
ESP (also known as ESC) is an important safety feature which prevents the vehicle from going out of control in various conditions. In addition, it now also comes with a cabin air filter.
