Maruti Suzuki has given its compact sedan, the Ciaz, a couple of updates. The sedan now gets more standard safety features and new dual-tone colour options (in the top-spec Alpha trim). Here are the extra kit you now get with the Ciaz:
Electronic Stability Control (standard across the range)
Hill Hold Assist (standard across the range)
Three dual-tone colours – grey, red, brown – with black roof.
Do note that the Ciaz offered electronic stability control and hill hold assist earlier, but limited to just the automatic gearbox in the Delta, Zeta and Alpha trims. Rest of the features list such as the seven-inch touchscreen infotainment, a coloured multi-info display, cruise control, dual airbags, and rear parking camera remain unchanged.
Prices, which range from Rs 9.2 lakh to Rs 12.19 lakh, remain unchanged. However, you need to shell out Rs 16,000 more if you pick the dual tone option, taking the top-spec Alpha dual tone pricing to Rs 11.15 lakh and Rs 12.35 lakh for the manual and automatic, respectively.
Apart from these, the Ciaz remains unchanged. It continues to rival the Honda City, Skoda Slavia, VW Virtus, and the upcoming 2023 Hyundai Verna.
