MG Motors has launched a ‘100-Year Limited Edition’ to celebrate its centenary year.
It features a new ‘Evergreen’ colour which is based on the iconic British Racing Green colour, usually seen on British racing cars till the 1960s.
Inside, they get an all-black dashboard with a black and green upholstery.
This special edition is available in the MG Comet EV, Astor, Hector, and ZS EV.
It doesn’t make its way to the Gloster.
The special edition commands a premium of Rs 20,000 for the Astor, ZS EV and Hector.
For the Comet EV, it commands a premium of Rs 16,000.
MG Motors celebrates its centenary year by launching a special ‘100-Year Limited Edition’, which comes with an ‘Evergreen’ colour inspired by the British Racing Green hue. This limited edition is available in the Comet EV, Astor, Hector and ZS EV. The Gloster doesn’t get this special edition.

For the MG Astor, Hector and ZS EV, the limited edition is based on the mid-spec variant. While, for the MG Comet EV it is based on the top-spec variant. The limited edition is available with both MT and CVT transmission options for the Astor. The Hector gets the limited edition in both 5- and 7-seater configurations with the petrol-CVT and diesel-MT powertrains. But MG hasn’t revealed the diesel model’s pricing, details of which we’ll update once we get the information.
The special edition brings in a new ‘Evergreen’ hue for the exterior, along with a starry black finished roof and dark coloured elements. The additions are extended to the interior as well, as it features an all-black dashboard and a black/green upholstery. Moreover, the' 100-Year Edition’ has been embroidered in the front headrests. Apart from this, the limited edition will also come in an ‘Evergreen’ theme for the head unit and customisation for the widget colour.
The MG Comet rivals the likes of the Tata Tiago EV and Tigor EV, while the MG ZS EV locks horns with the BYD Atto 3 and is a larger alternative to the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400 EV.
The MG Astor locks horns with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. Meanwhile the MG Hector competes against the Tata Harrier/Safari, Mahindra XUV700, and Hyundai Alcazar.
