The trailer for the third – and latest – iteration of Ubisoft’s racing game has just dropped. Called the Crew Motorfest, this one takes to one of the main islands of Hawaii called Oahu. With a diverse variety of ecosystems and terrains on offer, the locations that this game will have to offer are going to be vibrant as seen in its first teaser, making it an apt rival to Forza Horizon.
From off-roading on a beach or on the ashy terrain around a volcano to racing in the streets of the neon-lit Honolulu, the map boasts locations and sceneries bound to captivate the player. And the best part is that the abounding locations can be utilised to the fullest with the right choice and your choice of vehicle. And the options are plenty!
So what the developers have done is categorise the gameplay into a series of playlists - each one offering a unique short campaign that immerses you into one specific car culture at a time. So you’ve got the likes of vintage classics, Japanese mods, Italian beauties, modern day hypercars (and more) to play around with.
There’s even a dedicated playlist for the fanboys of the raging bull, which engrosses you in the world of and celebrates everything Lamborghini. And yes, of course it features the newly launched Lamborghini Revuelto, the successor to the iconic Aventador.

Oh and lest we forget, the new iteration of the game has retained the franchise's USP - the multi-vehicle approach which allows the user to switch from a car to a boat or to a plane whenever they feel like. So the racing won’t stop whether you’re on the tarmac, in the water or even up in the air.
While we don’t have an outright answer to that, we can confirm that the collection of cars spans a larger range than ever with more than 600 playable vehicles, thanks to the addition of new car brands and models. For context of just how wide the spectrum is, here are just a handful of cars on offer: two generations of the Toyota Supra, a 1957 Cadillac Eldorado, Ferrari F40, beach buggies, a Honda Civic Type-R, various Bugattis… and the list can just go on and on. It even has the latest generation of Formula 1 cars. You get the gist, right?

The game is already available to pre-order, and can be accessed on a variety of consoles including Playstation, Xbox and PC starting September 14. However, if you opt for either of the Gold or Ultimate editions, you’ll get a three-day early access along with a few other benefits. We are, of course, really excited to get some hands-on experience with the game, considering the variety of driving vibes that the game promises. Until then, this trailer will have to suffice:
