Aston Martin has taken the wraps off the most powerful Vantage in the 74-year history of the nameplate. It now features a V8 engine which delivers a significant 30 percent more power than its predecessor. Additionally, it features a refreshed design that gives it a sportier and more purposeful appearance. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
Starting from the front, the 2025 Vantage boasts a larger grille, emphasising its aggressive nature. According to Aston Martin, this grille provides a 29 percent increase in airflow for enhanced cooling. You will also notice the new headlight design which further complements the muscular aesthetics of the Vantage.
Moving to the profile, it showcases multi-spoke 21-inch alloy wheels, maintaining the sharp silhouette characteristic of Aston Martin cars. The rear also remains unchanged, featuring sleek, curvy taillights running the width of the body.
The new Vantage's sporting credentials are contrasted by its elegant cabin. Customers have the liberty to choose from various cabin themes and numerous customization options, typical of an Aston Martin. It features the same overall cabin layout as we have seen earlier with the DB12, featuring a modern design while retaining physical controls for most functions.
It comes equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 15-speaker Bowers and Wilkins audio system (optional), drive modes, and wireless phone charging.
Underneath the hood, the 2025 Vantage is powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 665 PS and 800 Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.4 seconds, boasting a top speed of 325 kmph, and is paired to 8-speed automatic transmission. Revised mechanical components, including an electronic rear differential and adaptive dampers, provide a balanced and comfortable driving experience with dynamic agility.
Aston Martin will start delivering the new-gen Vantage from Q2 of 2024 globally. It will be priced fairly more expensive than the outgoing model which was priced between Rs 3 crore and Rs 3.5 crore (ex-showroom). When launched in India, it will continue its rivalry with the McLaren GT and Ferrari Roma.
