Hyundai has revealed pictures and new details of the upcoming facelifted Venue SUV. It’ll come with redesigned front and rear fascias and get a slew of tech and feature updates on the inside. The carmaker has rejigged the new Venue’s engine and transmission options and added an S(O) trim level for the petrol variants. The Venue facelift will be launched on June 16, likely at a premium over its predecessor, which retailed for Rs 7.11 lakh to Rs 11.84 lakh (ex-showroom).
On first sight, you’ll notice the new Venue’s front fascia with Tucson-esque Parametric design cues such as its bolder front grille, larger eyebrow LED indicator lights and tweaked headlight housings. Lower down, you get a single full-width rectangular trim piece which houses the air dam with a faux silver skid plate underneath.
The side profile of the new Venue is similar to the outgoing model but gets new machine-cut dual-tone alloy wheels, chrome window line trim piece and silver trim on the bottom edge of the doors.
At the rear, the new Venue gets eye-catching taillights connected by a full-width LED light strip. The new bumper gets a similar wide black panel, which resembles the one up front, with reflector elements and reversing lamps on each side. A faux skid plate is present here, too.
Although Hyundai hasn’t fully revealed the upcoming subcompact SUV’s interior, we do know it’ll get a digitized driver’s display. It also has a new Home to car (H2C) connected car system with features such as Alexa connectivity and Google Voice Assistant, tyre pressure information and remote AC control. It has over 60 Bluelink features and 10 regional languages. In addition, it’ll get 2-step reclining seats at the rear with adjustable headrests.
