The newly launched Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus is the longer and larger 9-seater version of the Bolero Neo, catering to the needs of those who want the convenience of a spacious 9-seater. Along with added seats, it also gets a handful of differences over the smaller Bolero Neo.

It does not receive any major design changes over the Bolero Neo. However, it features a tweaked bumper, and revised taillights. You get the familiar chrome slatted grille and boxy appearance, giving it a robust look. It features redesigned 16-inch alloy wheels. The 9-seater SUV, will be available in 3 colour options- Napoli Black, Majestic Silver, and Diamond White.
Note: The Bolero Neo Plus will continue to be available as a Type B (patient transport) ambulance.
Get into the car and you will see the beige/ black dual tone dashboard. You also get silver inserts around the AC vents and the centre infotainment system. With more space on the inside, it gets a 2+3+4 seating layout, which uses jump seats as the seats behind the second row. The extended rear is also a good place to keep your luggage if you are not carrying people.

In terms of features, the Bolero Neo Plus gets a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, a 6-speaker sound system, steering-mounted controls, front armrest, a height-adjustable driver's seat, front and rear power windows, 12 V charging ports, and remote key entry. It misses out on Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. On the Bolero Neo, you get the smaller 7-inch touchscreen system
On the safety front, it includes ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, electronic stability control, reverse parking sensors, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
The Bolero Neo Plus is powered by the 2.2-litre diesel engine which makes 120 PS and 280 Nm, sending power to the rear wheels. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and misses out on an automatic transmission. The Bolero Neo Plus also misses out on a mechanical locking differential, available on the Bolero Neo.

The Boleo Neo Plus is a 9-seater alternative to the Bolero Neo, which is a 7-seater. It also provides a robust body-on-frame alternative to compact SUVs such as the Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza and Hyundai Venue.
