Just a day after teasing the Magnite facelift, Nissan has once again uploaded a video teaser of the  facelifted subcompact SUV ahead of its October 4 launch. First, the alloy wheel of the upcoming sub 4-m SUV was revealed, and now the tail light design and grille has been showcased.

The Japanese carmaker has not given the subcompact SUV any significant upgrades since its launch in December 2020, and this will be its first proper update and upgrade. Here everything you can expect from it:

Nissan Magnite Facelift: You Can Expect This

The 2024 Nissan Magnite will come with cosmetic enhancements that will uplift its design elements. The teaser has already confirmed the presence of a revised grille, whereas   a tweaked bumper and new LED headlights will give it a breath of fresh air.

The silhouette is expected to remain unchanged. The new alloy wheel design helps to set it apart from the outgoing model. The tail light design has also been tweaked for a fresh look.

To keep it at par with its rivals, we can expect Nissan to add new features to the cabin of the facelifted Magnite. It is expected to come with a larger touchscreen infotainment system and digital driver’s display. Features such as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a JBL sound system, keyless entry, ambient lighting, an air purifier, cruise control, steering mounted audio controls and a wireless phone charge should be retained.

In terms of safety, you can expect it to get six airbags as standard. Equipment such as ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC) and 360-degree parking camera with sensors will be retained.

The 2024 Magnite facelift will likely be powered by the same 1-litre naturally aspirated engine which produces 72 PS and 96 Nm and a more potent 1-litre turbo-petrol engine which generates 100 PS and up to 160 Nm. The NA engine can be had with a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AMT, while the turbo-petrol should continue with its 5-speed MT and a CVT gearbox.

The Magnite facelift is expected to come at a premium over the current model which is priced from Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 11.27 lakh (ex-showroom). It will rival SUVs like the Tata Punch, Toyota Taisor, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Fronx, Hyundai Exter, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Citroen Basalt.
