After dropping multiple teasers, the facelifted 2024 Nissan Magnite has been launched on our shores with a starting price of Rs 5.99 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). The updates to the sub-4m SUV focus mainly on exterior and interior styling tweaks, while it continues to be offered with the same engine options as the outgoing model.
Available across six broad variants, this report is centred around the one-below-top Tekna variant. Interested in one? Here's a brief look at what it offers.

Depending on the engine choice and transmission option you pick, the 2024 Magnite Tekna will cost you anywhere between Rs 8.75 lakh and Rs 11.14 lakh (ex-showroom). Do note that the prices for the facelifted Magnite are introductory and applicable to the first 10,000 deliveries only.
Over the lower-specced variants, the Tekna variant comes with projector LED headlights, LED turn indicators, and LED fog lamps. The front design is enhanced by a larger grille, chunky chrome inserts, and a revised front bumper, giving it a more stylish appearance.
The Tekna variant is equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels featuring a new multi-spoke design. Its profile is further elevated by a chrome-finished window line, roof rails, and chunky wheel arches.

At the rear, it sports LED tail lamps with a new H-shaped motif, a fresh design touch for the 2024 Magnite. As for the colour options, the Tekna variant is available with all five dual-tone and six monotone shades, including the new Sunset Copper Orange paint option. So the exterior styling of the one-below-top variant of the Nissan Magnite is exactly the same as its top-spec Tekna+ variant.
This is where this Tekna variant differs from the top-spec trim. Inside, you get a dual-tone black and grey cabin theme, which may not feel as upscale as the orange and black theme found in the top-spec variant, but does offer a better ambiance than the pre-facelift model. And while it might not get the new dual tone theme, it does get orange stitching all around the dashboard and steering wheel, which adds a bit of contrast. The cabin also features soft-touch elements on the dashboard and door pads, along with semi-leather seat upholstery for a more premium experience.
In the features department, the Tekna variant comes equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, cruise control, a 6-speaker ARKAMYS sound system, air purifier, and keyless entry with push-button start. It only misses out on ambient lighting, compared to the top variant.
Safety-wise, it gets 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, rear parking sensors, tyre pressure monitor system and electronic stability control.
With the Tekna variant, you get both petrol engine options for the Magnite, which includes the 72 PS/ 96 Nm 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit and the 100 PS/ 160 Nm 1-litre turbo-petrol unit. The former can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission (AMT), while the latter can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT-type automatic transmission.
The updated Magnite continues to rival the Maruti Fronx, Hyundai Exter, Tata Punch, Toyota Taisor, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, Citroen Basalt and Mahindra XUV 3XO.
