The changes might look rather miniscule at first glance, but look closely and these incremental changes actually make a difference

Nissan has launched the 2024 Magnite facelift on our shores, at a price of Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Over the pre-facelift model, the facelift is more of a refresh rather than a complete makeover. However, there are some new elements for the exterior, a new theme for the interior and some feature additions. In this article, we provide a detailed comparison between the two versions of the Magnite. Let’s begin:

Nissan Magnite Price: Old Vs New

Magnite Facelift (New)

Magnite Pre-facelift (Old)

Price

Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 11.5 lakh

Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 11.27 lakh

Do note that prices for the Magnite facelift are introductory, and applicable only for the first 10,000 deliveries.

As seen in the table above, the Magnite’s new iteration is offered at the same starting price, however, there is a slight premium for the top-spec variant.

Nissan Magnite Exterior: Old Vs New

Starting with the fascia, you now get a larger and more dominant grille which is surrounded by chrome elements. The LED headlights get a new design giving it a fresher look up front. Both models got a silver skid plate, but the one on the newer car is chunkier. The L-shaped DRLs look nearly identical, but the bumper now gets a more aggressive and bolder look.

From the sides, you get a new design for the 16-inch alloy wheels. Other than this change, the profile does not get any notable changes. The rear sports a new signature for the LED tail lights featuring H-shaped elements and Nissan has also tweaked the bumper slightly.

The overall silhouette remains the same for both versions. The facelifted model additionally gets a new Sunrise Copper Orange hue.

Nissan Magnite Interior And Features: Old Vs New

There are no changes to the dashboard design and layout, save for the fact that the facelifted model gets a new black and orange dualtone theme for the cabin and plenty of soft touch leatherette material across the cabin. The same three-spoke steering wheel has been retained, but it now comes with gloss black elements for a more premium feel.

Apart from the new theme, the cabin also comes with new features which uplift the experience over the outgoing model. The added amenities include 4-colour ambient lighting and auto IRVM.

Features that have been carried over are an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 7-inch digital driver’s display (with updated graphics), an air purifier, keyless entry, a wireless phone charger, steering mounted audio controls and cruise control.

In terms of safety kit, 6 airbags are now offered as standard across variants. Other safety features include ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitor, a 360-degree camera, and rear parking sensors.

Nissan Magnite Powertrain: Old Vs New

There are no changes to the powertrain, as it continues to get the same engine options available with the pre-facelifted model. Here is a look at the engine specifications:
