Ola Electric’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has teased the battery pack of an Ola Electric bike on his social media handle.

From the teaser image, the bike’s frame looks like a diamond-type split double cradle unit. The motor is quite compact in size and is located below the battery pack. The bike gets a chain drive system. The footpegs are pretty forward-set, indicating this particular model could be either the Ola Cruiser, or Roadster, which the EV maker showcased last year.

However, recently, design patents of three Ola Electric bikes were revealed and they looked like the Ola Roadster. One of them was a premium looking roadster with performance expected to be similar to that of a 160cc petrol-powered bike. It had a slim headlight design and sharp styling. The frame was a double cradle unit with the motor mounted on the frame along with a chain drive. Apart from the forward-set footpegs, the rest of the details spotted in the battery pack’s teaser suggest that the bike could be this roadster as well.

Bhavish Aggarwal recently revealed that the EV maker will launch a few variants of its bikes by early 2025. This is more or less similar to what Ola Electric revealed in a document filed for IPO (Initial Public Offering) purposes, wherein it said that the deliveries of the motorcycles are expected to begin in the first half of the 2026 fiscal year.
