With the change in prices, the Ola S1 X+ has become Rs 4,000 more expensive. The Ola S1 Pro 3kWh variant has become Rs 15,000 more expensive. The increase in price of the Ola S1 X+ is not that massive, and seems pretty reasonable given the features it has on offer. That said, the price increase of Rs 15,000 on the Ola S1 Pro 3kWh variant might not be something many customers will appreciate.
The Ola S1 Gen 3 series has received a lot of updates over the Ola S1 Gen 2. The scooters now get a new battery pack, which is now a structural component. Along with this, the scooters now also get a new mid-mounted motor setup along with a chain drive transmission. The changes are quite extensive and have surely gone a long way in upgrading the scooters.
The Ola S1 Gen 3 lineup goes up against other electric scooters in the market such as the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak and the Ather Rizta lineup.
