Mahindra might well have a similar situation to the XUV700 on their hands with the newly launched XUV 3XO. It had already garnered over 50,000 bookings within the very first hour, 27,000 of them within the first 10 minutes itself. Deliveries for the Mahindra XUV 3XO commenced 26 May 2024, and Mahindra dealerships across the country delivered over 1,500 units on the first day itself.
Earlier during the launch, Mahindra had already shared that it has allocated a manufacturing capacity of 9,000 units per month for the XUV 3XO, with more than 10,000 units already produced to cater to the high demand for the subcompact SUV. While this move will definitely cutt down the waiting period for the XUV 3XO, expect wait times already extending to the end of 2024 if you’re looking to place an order now.

There is a 130 PS 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol, a 110 PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, and a 117 PS 1.5-litre diesel engine on offer. The turbo-petrol variants come mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, while the diesel variant can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT.
What makes the XUV 3XO so popular are its segment-first features like the panoramic sunroof and dual zone climate control. Furthermore, a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen and a similar-sized digital driver’s display take centrestage inside the cabin. Safety features encapsulate 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, and all-wheel disc brakes as standard across its lineup. Additionally convenience features like hill-hold and hill-start assist and an electronic parking brake increase its value proposition.
