Had your eyes on either the Skoda Slavia or the Skoda Kushaq? Then this would be the right time to bring one home as the Czech carmaker has reduced prices for their India 2.0 offerings up to a massive Rs 2.19 lakh. We would advise you to be quick, though, as these revised prices are offered only for a limited time.
On the sidelines of this announcement, the variant names of both cars have been rechristened as Classic, Signature and Prestige. Earlier, the same was known as Active, Ambition and Style. On top of that, the Kushaq is also available in two more trims: Onyx and Monte Carlo.

The Monte Carlo variant has seen the most massive price drop, while the least was the Signature 1.5-litre TSI manual variant at a price cut of Rs 30,000.

The Skoda Slavia’s prices have been slashed by up to Rs 94,000.
The base variant has got a massive price cut, while the top-end Prestige 1.5-litre DCT has seen the least.
Unlike the Kushaq, certain variants of the Slavia have seen a price hike of up to Rs 36,000.
Features onboard both these cars include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-inch digital driver’s display, automatic climate control, ventilated and powered front seats, a single-pane sunroof, keyless entry with push button start and cruise control.

Passenger safety is taken care of by six airbags (as standard), electronic stability control, rear parking sensors with camera and ABS with EBD.
Both the Skoda Kushaq and Slavia get the choice of either a 1-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol or a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. The latter comes with cylinder deactivation technology, which shuts down two cylinders under light load for better fuel economy. Here’s a quick look at the detailed specifications of both cars:
