Royal Enfield is about to launch a few new motorcycles in 2024 and one of them could be the Royal Enfield Classic 650. We already know quite a fair bit about the upcoming motorcycle from previous spy shots and we have now uncovered even more information from this latest round of spy shots.
From these images, we can see that the fuel tank’s shape is similar to that of the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650. The same goes for the slightly upswept pea-shooter exhausts, but with a chrome finish instead of the blacked-out units on the Royal Enfield bobber. The pillion seat also seems to be the removable unit seen on the Shotgun 650. The rest of the design is similar to the Royal Enfield Classic 350, as seen before, with the headlight nacelle (and more importantly, the iconic Tiger halogen lamps) and the upright riding stance (with a hint of forward lean) due to the mid-set footpegs and the mid-rise handlebar.
From another round of previous spy shots, we got to know that the upcoming Classic 650 will come with an LED headlight and halogen turn indicators. Suspension setup will consist of a telescopic fork and dual shock absorber setup. Since it is based on the Super Meteor 650, it will be powered by the same 648cc air-/oil-cooled BS6.2-compliant engine producing 47PS and 52Nm.
