Royal Enfield might be one of the oldest two-wheeler manufacturers in the world but that doesn’t stop it from introducing new ways to reach out to its customers Which ones? Personalised apparel and helmets, to begin with. Royal Enfield has introduced the Make-it-Yours (MiY) initiative which lets customers personalise RE apparel and helmets via its online store.
This initiative takes inspiration from RE’s Make-it-Yours personalisation tool which was introduced during the launch of the Meteor 350. This configurator lets enthusiasts mirror their own unique personalities on RE bikes like the Meteor, the Classic, and the 650 twins. Following an overwhelming response, RE decided to broaden its horizon and extend this feature for its apparel and helmet range.

Customers can personalise their helmets on the basis of shell size, visors, colour palettes, decals, and even internal fabric options. Furthermore, they can also add personalised text, with up to 14 and 20 characters in the 1st and 2nd row, respectively. Costs of these custom helmets are mentioned below:
Half Face |
Rs 3200 |
Full Face | Rs 4200 |
Urban Trooper | Rs 4000 |
T-shirts can be customised based on colour, badges, and prints. One can also experiment by adding text (up to 15 characters at the front and back) and images of motorcycle models of their choice with their licence number plates. Such tailor-made t-shirts will set you back by Rs 1250.
In total, there are 7,000 unique customisation options for helmets and as many as 15,000 choices for t-shirts. It takes between 15-30 days for Royal Enfield to deliver its orders and no cash-on-delivery option is available as of now. Royal Enfield plans on extending this initiative to their dealerships too.
Consumers will appreciate the low prices and moreover, if RE introduces such initiatives for their riding gear too, it’d be the icing on the cake.
