Royal Enfield has announced an expansion of its pre-owned bike business called REOWN across the country. The REOWN program is now available through the manufacturer’s 475 dealerships in 236 cities across 24 states and union territories in India.
The REOWN program, introduced in 2023, is a platform for buying and selling pre-owned Royal Enfield motorcycles. The manufacturer also announced a loyalty program with exchange benefits for customers who want to exchange their current Royal Enfield motorcycles for new ones through the REOWN program. Customers can also exchange their motorcycles from other manufacturers for a pre-owned Royal Enfield motorcycle through this program. Royal Enfield’s current lineup consists of the Classic 350, Meteor 350, Bullet 350, Goan Classic 350, Hunter 350, Scram 411, Guerilla 450, Himalayan 450, Continental GT 650, Interceptor 650, Bear 650, Super Meteor 650 and the Shotgun 650. So, customers can easily exchange their bikes for any one of these above-mentioned machines pretty conveniently through the REOWN program.
All pre-owned motorcycles in the REOWN program are certified by the manufacturer and undergo over 200 technical and mechanical checks along with refurbishing using genuine parts at the service centres. The motorcycles are also available with a 12-month warranty with two free service check-ups.
The used motorcycle market has been booming in India for several years now. But reliability issues and trust factors are still big obstacles, to a degree, for this sector of the market to grow exponentially. With Royal Enfield being, arguably, the most popular motorcycle manufacturer in the country, having its own pre-owned business will certainly help the manufacturer increase its already huge brand loyalty among the customers. And for the customers, the safety of buying a used Royal Enfield motorcycle with certifications and assurance from the manufacturer themselves is always welcomed.
