The price increment ranges from Rs 19,000 to Rs 29,000, depending on the variant.
The Ambition 1-litre TSI manual and automatic variants have been exempted from this hike.
The Kushaq rivals the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, VW Taigun, MG Astor, and select XUV700 and MG Hector’s variants.
Select variants of the Skoda Kushaq have become more expensive by up to Rs 29,000. This is in keeping with the carmaker’s announcement in November last year that it would hike the prices of its entire lineup heading into 2022.
Here’s how much extra you’ll have to shell out for the Kushaq:

A quick recap of the Skoda SUV. The Kushaq features a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech, a multi-info display, a wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, ambient lighting, and ventilated front seats. Safety is covered by six airbags, ABS with EBD, hill hold control, a rearview camera with parking sensors, electronic stability control, and tyre pressure monitoring.
It is powered by 115PS 1-litre TSI and 150PS 1.5-litre TSI petrol engines with a 6-speed manual as standard. As for the optional transmissions, the smaller engine gets a 6-speed torque converter and the bigger mill a 7-speed DSG.
The Skoda Kushaq takes on the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, VW Taigun, MG Astor, and select variants of the Mahindra XUV700 5-seater and MG Hector. The carmaker is all set to bring two more models to the country: the facelifted Kodiaq SUV later this month, followed by the Slavia sedan in March.
