In Skoda’s family tree in India, the newly launched Kylaq subcompact SUV is positioned below the Kushaq compact SUV. However, both the SUVs are based on the same MQB A0 IN platform. Being from the same stable, there are many commonalities between the two, but there are some differences as well which gives them their own identities. In this article, we will be comparing their specifications to give you an idea of the main factors that separate the two:

While Skoda has not revealed the full price range of the Kylaq. We know that the Kylaq’s starting price undercuts that of the Kushaq by Rs 3 lakh! We expect the Kylaq’s top-spec prices to be around the Rs 15 lakh mark.
Full prices of the Kylaq might be revealed at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo on January 17.
Both Kushaq and Kylaq belong to different segments. The Kushaq is a compact SUV, while the Kylaq is a subcompact SUV. Let’s take a look at at their dimensions in detail:

While not significant, the Kylaq also boasts a marginally higher 189 mm ground clearance, compared to the Kushaq’s 188 mm.
