Skoda very recently revealed the Kylaq subcompact SUV, which has been positioned in a crowded and fierce segment full of well-packaged SUVs . One such SUV is the Mahindra XUV 3XO – a strong contender against Skoda’s newest entrant.
In this comparison, we have jotted down their specifications, giving you an idea of how they stack up against each other!

Skoda is yet to reveal its full price range which will be out on December 2, 2024. The starting price of both the SUVs are almost identical! It is likely that the Skoda SUV will also top out around the Rs 15 lakh mark.
Both Kylaq and XUV 3XO are sub-4-metre SUVs and belong to the same segment, which makes it obvious that their dimensions will be similar. Let’s take a look at at their dimensions in detail:

The Kylaq is offered with only one engine, while the XUV 3XO comes with not one or two but three engine options! The latter gets larger-sized petrol engines and its more potent TGDi turbo-petrol churns out the highest output in this comparison. The XUV 3XO also comes with a diesel unit which produces the most torque out of all engine options.
So if you’ll be having high mileage and want a diesel engine for better running costs, the XUV 3XO will be your only option.
The Kylaq and XUV 3XO compete with other subcompact SUVs like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Nissan Magnite, Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet.
