Sporty And Sinister! All-Black MG Hector Blackstorm Edition Teased Ahead Of April 10 Launch

MG Motor India is all set to launch the Hector Blackstorm Edition, which has just been teased ahead of its launch on April 10. The midsize SUV will feature an all-black treatment with red highlights which was earlier given to the Astor and Gloster SUVs. Expect the all-black MG Hector to be limited to the higher-end variants.

From the teased poster, it is evident that the Hector will get an all-black shade with blacked-out alloy wheels and red accents to give it a sportier appeal. To retain a sinister look, all the chrome bling elements have been replaced by dark chrome. Although there are no notable alterations to the body shape or external features per se, what sets it apart as the  Blackstorm Edition is the striking combination of black and red.

The interiors are also expected to be in line with the special edition, and we anticipate it to be all black with red accents following in the interiors as well. Even the ambient lighting colour is expected to be finished in red, which will give it a sporty contrast against the all-black theme. The MG Hector retails at price ranging from Rs. 13.98 - 21.94 Lakh (ex-showroom) and one can expect the Blackstorm Edition to get a slight price hike. With almost every automaker bringing in special editions with all-black treatment, the Hector Blackstorm is in line to take on its rivals like the Tata Harrier/Safari, Mahindra XUV700 and Hyundai Creta/Alcazar.
