The ongoing Bharat Mobility Expo has some interesting cars showcased. Some of these include limited editions of existing models, a CNG Concept of a popular compact SUV, near-production model, India debut of an electric car and more. So without further ado, let's take a look at all the cars at the expo:
As the name implies, this is a different variant of the new Tata Safari facelift. Changes on the outside include an all-back theme with red highlights while the insides get a red ambient light stripe on the dashboard, an all-black theme with red seat covers, while retaining most of the features of the top-end Safari. The Safari Red Dark continues with the same 170 PS 2-litre diesel engine paired with either a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox.
The Tata Nexon EV Dark comes with a new all-black paint theme, black alloys and blue inserts on the fog lamps and grille. The insides, too, get the same all-black theme with blue inserts on the dashboard and upholstery. Tata is offering the Nexon EV Dark Edition on the higher trims of both the mid- and long-range variants.

The Nexon is all set to get a CNG option soon. The Indian carmaker showcased the Nexon CNG concept. This would make the Nexon the fifth car in the Tata stable to get the CNG option. Uniquely, Tata is offering a 1.2-litre turbo petrol tuned to run on compressed natural gas. This makes the Nexon CNG the first turbo-petrol CNG car in India. The cylinder arrangement consists of Tata’s novel twin-cylinder tech wherein 2 smaller CNG tanks are placed lower in the boot to liberate boot space. That said, Tata has not yet revealed the engine specs as well as the transmission options of the Nexon CNG.
The Tata Curvv is based on the Nexon platform but gets a larger wheelbase and a different rear. In terms of design, the Curvv gets a coupe-like sloping roofline and borrows design elements like connected LED tail lamps from the Harrier and Safari. We can expect the interiors of the Tata Curvv to get a two-spoke steering wheel, dual displays, and a touch-sensitive AC control panel.
The Hilux Rapid Intervention has been specially designed for disaster management. The pickup truck has been completely redone by Toyota and the bed comes equipped with all the essential fire-fighting equipment, including a 180-litre water tank. This Hilux not only gets fire-fighting capabilities, but can also double up as a rescue and medical relief vehicle.
Skoda has unveiled the Enyaq all-electric SUV in India for the first time. Based on the MEB platform, the Enyaq shares its underpinnings with the Volkswagen ID.4. The SUV gets an illuminated grille with L-shaped LED headlights and V-shaped tail lamps. More details on the features and variants of the Enyaq are awaited at the time of launch. The Enyaq gets a 77 kWh battery with dual electric motors with a maximum range of 513 km.
The EQG is the all-electric version of the iconic G-Class SUV. The Mercedes-Benz EQG concept gets many features, though its real party trick is its ability to do donuts on the same spot. Take a look at the EQG in action and read more about the EQG concept in this report.
With so many new reveals due for a launch soon, it's a good time if you are in the market for a new car. Let us know down in the comments which amongst these caught your fancy.
