We are all set to witness the 2024 Bharat Mobility Global Expo, an Auto Expo of sorts backed by the Indian government. Scheduled between February 1 and 3, 2024, the expo will not only feature cars but also provide you with details on new innovations and future technologies. Earlier, we gave you a glimpse of what Mercedes-Benz is going to showcase at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Expo. In this report, we will unveil what Tata Motors will reveal at the expo.
First off is the Nexon CNG concept, essentially the regular Nexon with a factory-fitted CNG kit. At the Expo, the carmaker will reveal its CNG variant featuring the company's twin-cylinder technology, ensuring that owners retain usable boot space. And this will also be one of the first CNG models to be powered by a turbocharged powertrain.
Tata Motors already offers the 2023 Safari facelift in a Dark edition, featuring cosmetic enhancements with an all-black exterior. The Indian marque is set to showcase its Dark edition concept at the Expo, where we expect it to be presented with red interiors and other minimal changes from the current Dark edition Safari.

We've already caught a glimpse of the highly anticipated Curvv with emerging spy images. The SUV-coupe will first debut in an all-electric version, followed by an ICE-powered engine variant. Tata Motors initially showcased the Curvv EV back in 2022, while the ICE version was showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo. Expect a more close to production version to be showcased at the upcoming event. .
The Altroz Racer, a performance-oriented model of the Altroz hatchback, will also be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo. It first debuted at the 2023 Auto Expo and features visual upgrades both inside and out. It will be powered by the Nexon’s 120 PS 1.2-litre petrol engine, teamed with a 6-speed manual, and is set to rival the Hyundai i20 N Line.
Tata Motors will also showcase the Dark Edition version of its all-electric subcompact SUV, the Nexon EV, at the Bharat Mobility Expo. Like the other Dark Edition models, the Nexon EV Dark Edition will also feature a black exterior and all-black interior. Apart from the aesthetic enhancements, do not expect any updates in the specifications and features.
The all-electric Harrier will also make its way at the Bharat Mobility Expo. It is set to be built on Tata’s new Activ.ev all-electric platform. Visually, it resembles the 2023 Harrier facelift and is expected to feature a battery pack with a real world range of around 400 km. Expect the Harrier EV concept to be showcased a close to production model.
Apart from these models, Tata Motors will also showcase the 2023 Safari facelift, and the recently launched Punch EV. You can read about our experience with the Punch EV in our first drive report over here.
