It's another month and another rejig for the Tata Nexon sub-4 metre SUV. While the previous change was a simple axing of the silver paint option, this time around, the carmaker has given a price hike on select variants of the Nexon.

The latest price hike for the Nexon ranges from Rs 2,000 to Rs 10,000 depending on the variant and engine option chosen. It’s the petrol-powered XMA (S) and the diesel-powered XZA+ (O) variants get the highest increment at Rs 10,000.
The features list remains unchanged with bits such as a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Harman sound system, digital driver’s display, a single-pane sunroof, and automatic climate control. It can be specced with either a 120PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine or a naturally aspirated 115PS 1.5-litre diesel motor. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or an AMT.
Now priced between Rs 7.29 lakh to Rs 13.34 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the Tata Nexon goes up against a vast lineup of sub-4 metre SUVs which include the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, and Mahindra XUV300.
