Tata Motors has discontinued yet another colour option in the Nexon in 2021. This time, it’s the Pure Silver shade that gets the axe following the Tectonic Blue paint, which was scrapped earlier this year.
With this, the sub-4m SUV is now available in five colours: Foliage Green, Flame Red, Calgary White, Daytona Grey, and Atlas Black (Dark Edition).
Trivia: The Tigor is the only Tata car to still be available in silver.
The Nexon has been a bestseller for the carmaker in recent times, and Tata has been updating the SUV -- redesigning the alloy wheels, scrapping the physical ICE buttons, and introducing a Dark Edition -- to stay on top of the competition.
The Nexon features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a single-pane sunroof, a Harman sound system, digital driver’s display, automatic climate control, and drive modes. Passenger safety is taken care of by dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors with a camera, and electronic stability control.

The Nexon gets the choice of 120PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 110PS 1.5-litre diesel engines, each paired with a 6-speed manual and an optional 6-speed AMT.
Tata’s sub-4 metre SUV currently retails from Rs 7.28 lakh to Rs 13.23 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). It locks horns with the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, and Mahindra XUV300.
