The Definitive List Of All The Cars Expected To Hit Indian Roads This Month

After an eventful start to the year, with the launch of the Hyundai Creta and Creta N Line, along with the unveiling of a couple of cars including the Volkswagen Taigun GT’s new variants. We expect April to be no less exciting, with the upcoming launches and a couple of debuts in the Indian car market. 

Here’s a list of the upcoming launches in the month of April:

 

Toyota Crossover

Toyota's sub-4m crossover SUV, based on the Maruti Fronx, is slated for a launch on April 3. Toyota has trademarked the ‘Urban Cruiser Taisor’ name, the probable candidate for the upcoming model’s name. It will more or less be similar to the Maruti Fronx, though we can expect a couple of design tweaks here and there to have its own identity. Mahindra XUV300 Facelift

Mahindra has been testing the XUV300 in recent times, we expect the Indian carmaker to launch the facelifted XUV300 in the month of April. The XUV300 is expected to get a refreshed design, a redesigned interior a la the XUV400 and of course, additional features as well. That said, don’t expect any changes made to the mechanicals.  

Volkswagen Taigun GT New Variants 

Earlier in March, Volkswagen had showcased the new GT variants of the Taigun, and we expect the launch of the new variants sometime in the month of April. Skoda Superb

Skoda is expected to bring back the older-generation Superb in India. It will be brought back as a CBU (completely built unit), and is expected to be launched in the initial days of April. One can expect the model to be offered in limited numbers and have even more bells and whistles onboard, The Skoda after its launch will rekindle its rivalry with the Toyota Camry.

Force Gurkha 5-door 

Force motors recently teased the Gurkha 5-door, and we can confidently say that the launch of the 5-door version of the Gurkha is around the corner and most probably in the month of April. The 5-door Gurkha is expected to get design enhancements over the current 3-door version of the model. It will go up against the upcoming Thar 5-door as its direct rival. 

Couple Of Luxury Models Can Be Expected 

 

Apart from the aforementioned cars, one can also expect a couple of launches and unveilings from luxury carmakers such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi. The detailed news of these models launching will likely be announced closer to their launch date.
