The Mahindra XEV 9e Is Bigger Than The XUV700! Check Out How Their Dimensions Compare

Mahindra has revealed the XEV 9e, which is an all-electric SUV-coupe with prices starting from Rs 21.9 lakh (introductory, ex–showroom). It features plenty of striking design elements that make it look unique when compared to other mass market SUVs. On the other hand, we have the popular XUV700 mid-size SUV which falls in a similar bracket in terms of dimensions and pricing (higher-spec variants). 

While the XEV 9e’s full specifications are not out yet, we will be comparing the dimensions of the electric SUV-coupe with that of the XUV700.

As seen in the table above, the XEV 9e is significantly longer, marginally wider and sits on a slightly larger wheelbase. The XUV700 stands taller due to its more conventional SUV stance, while the XEV 9e gets a sloping roofline. 

Do note that the XEV 9e is a 5-seater, while the XUV700 is available in 6-and 7-seater configurations as well. The XEV 9e has a significantly large boot space of 633 litres, while the XUV700 gets 240 litres of boot space with the third row up.

Mahindra XEV 9e Vs XUV700: Price And RIvals 

The XEV 9e has a starting price of Rs 21.9 lakh (ex-showroom), its full pricing is yet to be revealed and we expect Mahindra to announce the entire price range by early January. The XUV700 on the other hand is priced between Rs 13.99 lakh and RS 26.04 lakh. 

The XEV 9e will lock horns with the upcoming Tata Harrier EV, while the XUV700 competes with the MG Hector/ Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Harrier/ Safari and the Jeep Compass.
